At $295, it’s cheaper than most netbook of its class. If you are looking for a low-cost netbook under $300, the AO532h is a great choice to consider.

The Asus Eee PC 1005HA-PU17 is one of the previous generation netbook that runs on Intel Atom N280 instead of the new N450 pineview processor. Other than that, this netbook is almost identical to the Eee PC 1005PE which is currently one of the best netbook on the market.

In terms of processing power, the Intel Atom N280 and N450 CPU provides almost the same performance. What differentiate them is the battery life — the N450 processor on the 1005PE is more power efficient and so can provide longer battery life (up to 14 hours); while the N280 CPU on 1005HA drains more power from the battery and so has shorter battery life (maximum 10.5 hours). If you have no issue with the shorter battery life, the Eee PC 1005HA is actually a pretty good deal as it cost much lower than its predecessor at only $297.71.
